If you're local to San Diego and would prefer to bring your approved buylist into the store you're welcome to do so anytime we're regularly open.

Please note that submission of cards does not guarantee prices or card acceptance, refer to the final approved buylist for any changes that might occur. 

Please include the cards in either the order of submission or the order the accepted email refers to. Failing to do so may result in delays or rejection.

Make sure to unsleeve all cards once the buylist has been accepted. You are welcome to leave foils in sleeves to prevent curling. Failing to do so may result in delays or rejection.

The nitty gritty

Selling your cards is a quick and simple process. Now that you're in buylist mode you can use the search bar above to find a card, add the quantity you wish to sell, and then click "sell". When you are done adding cards to the cart, simply click submit in the top right hand corner, and you will begin the check out process. Once there you'll need to login, specify how you want to be paid (Paypal or store credit), and then click submit buylist at the bottom.

All listed buy prices are for NM cards, however we do accept cards (buy price of $1.00 or more) in lesser condition at the following rates:

Slight Play (SP) - 85% of NM buy price
Played (PL) - 70% of NM buy price
Heavy Play (HP) - 60% of NM buy price
Damaged (DMG) - 35% of NM buy price

Please note that cards from Alpha, Beta, Unlimited, Arabian Nights, Antiquities, Legends, etc. and certain foils such as judge foils or 7th edition may fall under a more strict degradation due to their price being largely driven by condition. While we do typically buy older cards in lesser condition, we also reserve the right to reject higher end cards on a case-by-case basis. Please remember to check our adjusted buy prices after grading to make sure you don't want anything removed and sent back to you. 

 

For cards less than $1.00 we offer the following rates for lesser conditions:

Buy price of $0.05 - $0.00, we don't buy less than NM
Buy price of $0.10 - $0.00, we don't buy less than NM
Buy price of $0.25 - SP ($0.15) PL ($0.10)
Buy price of $0.50 - SP ($0.35) PL ($0.25)
Buy price of $0.75 - SP ($0.55) PL ($0.40)

Please refer to our grading below to determine what condition your cards are in:

Card Grading:

• Near Mint (NM)
  Cards in NM condition may show minimal wear, although it's not typically noticeable unless it is closely inspected. Foils in NM condition will have all of the inherent conditions specific to NM but will also have minimal to no clouding. Cards in NM condition will be tournament legal when sleeved and likely tournament legal without a sleeve, you may want to consult a judge should you decide to play without a sleeve to determine if it's legal.
• Slight Play (SP)
  Cards in SP condition will show definate, yet slight, wear. Cards may also have minor scratches or edge wear from shuffling. There will not be any fading, bends, or creases. Foils in SP condition will have all of the inherent conditions specific to SP but may also have slight clouding. Cards in SP condition will be tournament legal as long as they are sleeved.
• Played (PL)
  Played cards will have edge wear on all sides, including, but not limited to, minor fading, bent corners, depressions, and mild to heavy shuffle wear. Foils in PL condition will have all of the inherent conditions specific to PL but will also have clouding. Cards in PL condition will be tournament legal as long as they are sleeved.
• Heavily Played (HP)
  Heavily Played cards will have a wide range of defects, and may include, but is not limited to, heavy edge wear, creases, fading, bends, ink markings, and depressions. Foils in HP condition will have all of the inherent conditions specific to HP but will also have clouding. Cards in HP condition may require consent from a judge on whether they are tournament legal.

 

Important Information about the buylist process:

1. Please do not mail your cards until the order is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. Because card prices are constantly changing please note that any submission of a buylist does not guarantee a price or quantity accepted, until the order is confirmed we maintain the right to alter prices and quantities for your final approval. This includes both online submitted buylists and in store kiosk submissions. Once an order has been approved, regardless of what happens to a price, we will honor our price. Please sort the cards in the order of the list and include the list with the package. Doing so makes the grading process much faster and ensures you're paid as quickly as possible. If your order is not sorted in the order of the list there will be a delay of up to 7 days.

2. We strongly suggest tracking and insurance for your order as we cannot be held responsible for anything lost or stolen while in transit. Orders must ship within 5 days of confirmation.

3. Upon receipt we will grade the cards, note any discrepencies with condition, and then issue payment. If you choose store credit the 25% bonus will be added and will be available for use immediately.

4. Order that are not received within 10 days are subject to cancellation.

These prices are for English and NM cards ONLY. We reserve the right to reject bulk rares from certain sets. Examples include, but are not limited to, white border rares without gold symbols, Time Spiral "Timeshifted" purple rares, and Un-sets. For tips on how to ship your bulk to us, send us an email at buyer@bruteforcemtg.com. If your cards are not NM or include too many duplicates, we reserve the right to reject your buylist.
